The X Border Challenge is a 10k road running race, this time Starting in the northern outskirts of
Carlisle (England) and finishing at Gretna (Scotland).
All finishers receive a medal, a goody bag and of course a fantastic welcome from supporters and spectators.

How long has the event been running?Open or CloseThe event is now in its sixth year, and this will be the second time it's ran from England to Scotland!
The X Border 10k was created by Mike James of Endurance Sports. Mike is also responsible for the resurgence in popularity of the Great Cumbrian Run which he organised between 2000 and 2008.
Endurance Sports are also the organisers of the Gelt Gladiator, another fantastic local event
How many runners will there be?Open or CloseLast years event hosted 400 runners, ranging from semi-pros to fun runners. It's a great course and everybody is welcome.
When and where does it start?Open or CloseRunners should make their way to Kigmoor Park to pick up The run starts at 9am on Sunday 29 Jan 2017 from Kingmoor Park.
What is the 10k Route?Open or CloseThe 10k starts 9am at Kingmoor Park and the course will see runners take the recently constructed road that runs parallel the M6 Motorway, as they run, jog or walk north to bonny Scotland to a heroes welcome at the Greens at Gretna Hotel.
